Harwood Slipway Pty Ltd has over forty years experience in servicing the marine industry in Australia & the South Pacific. In recent years, we have expanded the business to include ship construction as well as marine repair & maintenance & general engineering.

In 2006, we extended the main slipway, which now has the capacity to slip up to 2,500 tonnes. We are now building a 31m x 25m abrasive blasting & spray painting workshop which will enable environmentally sustainable blasting & painting 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Harwood Slipway Pty Ltd is part of the Harwood Marine Precinct, which includes Lord Howe Island Shipping Services & Harwood Aluminium & Steel Boats Pty Ltd, (HASB). HASB is managed by Master Boat Builder Greg Brown, well known for his successful high profile racing yacht winners such as Hammer of Queensland, Bobsled, Innkeeper etc.
